College-bound student with a plan in place by Grand Fit Educational Counseling

Class of 2029,
this year is where direction starts to matter.

Get a clear plan now so your student can move forward with purpose, not pressure.

Build momentum now. Avoid stress later.

Sophomore year is when things start to take shape.

Classes begin to signal direction. Activities start to deepen.

And for many families, the questions get louder:

“Are we on the right track?”
“Should we be doing more?”

There’s still time, but this is where intention makes a real difference.

 When you work with me,

I help you take what your student has already started and turn it into a clear, thoughtful plan so you’re not guessing your way through the next two years.

How We Find Your Student's "GRAND" Fit

I use my GRAND Approach to guide your student through every step, from knowing themselves to choosing the right school.

G - Genuine Self-Reflection

Before you can find the right college, you need to know yourself. We explore your strengths and values related to your career and academic goals so you can find a campus where you will truly flourish, and identify any gaps in your application along the way.

R - Research Colleges

More options are not always better. We conduct thorough research to set realistic expectations, cut through the noise, and build a focused list of schools that are the right academic, social, and financial fit for your student.

A - Authentic Storytelling

Your student has a unique story worth sharing. We work through the college essay process together, covering common prompts, writing strategies, and tips to make the process feel manageable and the final product feel genuinely theirs.

N - Navigating Applications

Completing applications isn't just paperwork. It's strategy.  Through creating the appropriate timeline and reviewing all requirements, we build a roadmap so nothing falls through the cracks.

D - Deliberate Decision-Making

The final choice matters. We help your student weigh their options thoughtfully, consider the factors that matter most, and move forward with clarity and confidence.

Why Families Trust Grand Fit

I believe in transparency and results.

Here is what happens when we work together:

Real Financial Returns

83% of my students receive institutional scholarships. Collectively, my students have been awarded over $3 million in scholarships.

Authentic Connection:

No outsourcing. When you hire Grand Fit, you get me—not a contractor or a junior associate.

Ethical Guidance:

I am a member of HECA and IECA. I do not accept compensation from universities. My advice is 100% objective and focused on your student.

"Hiring you was the best money we EVER spent. He’ll graduate without student debt... this is exactly the outcome we are looking for." — Parent, Class of 2021

I went into the application process completely lost and not sure where to start and Allison was honest, not judgmental, and motivating. She knew exactly how to help me and guide me in the right direction."
— Student, class of 2024
